First Day of School

Kiddos started school on August 16th.  

I told Sage if he wore a golf shirt on the first day of school then he could wear "comfy" clothes the rest of the week.  

Sage is doing afternoon Kindergarten and he'll do enrichment in the morning.  I loved this picture of him getting onto the bus.  He is the first one picked up and then he gets to drive by Grandma and Grandpa Weatherwax's house before picking up another friend.

Back to School...

All 3 kiddos are attending Deer Run Elementary School this year!  My "baby" is going into Kindergarten - how the heck did that happen?

And Emma (and Ella...Yeah!) has Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Laudick for 4th grade.

We went to an art studio where the kids created a back to school gift for their new teachers!

Wrapping up the summer!

I spent a day with each one of the kiddos before school.  Indian Cavern in Delaware with putt putt for Sage.

"Mom, rub my legs, rub my back, rub my arms..." so Emma and I got a massage.

We went to a Columbus Crew game with the Weatherwax Family.

And the kiddos went to Kalahari with Grandma and Papa for a few nights!

Jamaica - Zinser Summer Vacation

This summer we headed to Montego Bay, Jamaica for the Zinser family vacation.  We stayed at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites.  We enjoyed the weather, entertainment, food and relaxation!

 We took a catamaran ride out in the ocean and we went snorkeling - yes, everyone snorkeled.  Then we got back on the boat and headed to Margaritaville and then returned to the dock.

We enjoyed the fun pool games.  Here is Emma on the magic carpet!

The girls enjoyed getting their hair braided.

The resort had two pools, a lazy river and a kids water park.  There were weddings daily.

Kim and I with our Jamaica Drink - it was a little sweet but it looked so pretty!

 There was a foam party on Thursday at the kids water park - so much fun!

And of course the kiddos enjoyed going to the swim up bar for their Shirley Temples, daiquiri's and Miami Vice's!

The girls would participate in line dancing every day and would also help out with water aerobics.

Summer Fun!

When I was a child, I always thought Summer was for rest and recovery from the previous school year.  Times have definitely changed for our children.  Emma remained quite busy this summer.  She had soccer twice weekly and she played on a summer basketball league.  They only won 2 games because they played against boys, but they had a blast.  

Emma and Sage took golf lessons at the club.  They enjoy playing golf and hopefully they'll follow in their Daddy's footsteps.  

Sage and Kate attended VBS at NPCA.  

And lot of time spent at the pool with friends!

The kids enjoyed going to Coney Island twice this summer.  Its amazing that my sister and I went down that same silver slide when we were kids.

Watching James play baseball is always fun - he played a great game!
