Catching up!

The Spicers came for an overnight trip a couple weeks ago. The kids played in the yard, took a wagon ride to the park, chased bubbles, and wrapped up the night with a bath and story time! On Saturday morning we loaded up the strollers, headed downtown and walked the Komen Race for the Cure 5k with 45,000 other people! Laura is expecting a baby girl in August!
Memorial Day weekend was a fun one. Kim and Jim went to the Kenny Chesney concert here in Columbus, so John and I had 3 kids for the evening. We were busy to say the least! The kids loved to chase each other around and have "dance parties." Sunday we went to the Reds/Indians game in Cincinnati. Here is Emma was sporting her Indians gear from Papa!

Also, check what my sister introduced Emma to in our basement...Thanks Kim!!!! (FYI - the video was taken on John's cell phone - so the sound is a little funky).

Mother's Day

We were able to spend Mother's day with both of our Moms this past weekend. Saturday we headed to the Nati and Sunday we were in Dayton. I am so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful Mothers and role models! Here are some pictures of the weekend!

Indy and 18 mos!

This past weekend we went to Indianapolis to cheer on Aunt Bec, Grandma and Great Aunt Connie as they walked the Indy Mini half marathon - they all did great and it was a beautiful day! Congrats!

I can hardly believe that Emma will be 18 mos tomorrow! It seems like every day she is doing something new, saying or signing a new word, performing a new trick, and becoming a beautiful young lady! She knows her name, animals and body parts - above is a clip of a few of them. She is starting to "slim" down a bit in her tummy area with all of her activities and running. I joke that I can finally put her jeans in the dryer - haha. She still is attempting to jump, but can't quite get off the ground yet! Emma loves to play outside and often puts up a fight when its time to come in.

We visited the doctor today and Emma weighs 29 pounds 8 ounces and is 33 inches tall (75-90th percentiles). Have a great week!
