Weekend at the Lake!
This past weekend we headed to Port Clinton with our dear friends the Spicer's and the Feasel's. Laura's parents graciously allowed us to invade their beautiful new home. We enjoyed the pool, the lake, the boat, and I even got Emma to ride on the tube! She cried the whole time and she was happy when the ride was over! Luke and Emma are 1 mos apart and Rachel and Kate are 2 mos apart. It has been an adventure going through all the phases of parenthood with wonderful friends! Congrats to Mr & Mrs. Feasel who celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Sunday! Here are some pics of the weekend!
Happy Birthday Grandpa Weatherwax
Again, better late than never! We headed to Dayton to celebrate Grandpa's birthday on July 11th! The girls and Grandpa looked cute in their yellow! We had a delicious home cooked meal and a wonderful visit! Emma loves to help blow out the candles! Also, Kate's 1 year appointment went well. She weighs 21 lbs 13 oz (60%) and is 28 inches long. She's a petite little girl compared to big sis who weighed 26 lbs 10 oz at her 1st year check up. No wonder my biceps aren't as toned! :)

The Outer Banks - Duck, NC 2010
The Zinser family had another fabulous vacation. We traveled to the Outer Banks, NC. Except for one day of rain, we had beautiful weather. We drove through the night going to NC, as well as coming home. The girls did well and the 11 hour drive went smoothly.
James, Emma, Hailey and Kate loved playing together. They enjoyed playing in the water, having craft time (thanks Kim!), and having their nightly dance parties! Now that there are 4 kids, eating out isn't as relaxing as it once was - so we cooked half of our dinners. John and I hosted "steak night." Kim and Jim brought their deep fryer and they made delicious buffalo wings, french fries, onion rings, and even deep fried Twinkies (amazing!!!). Mom and Dad had a Mexican fiesta! Our house was beautiful and the views were amazing! Thank you Mom and Dad for your generosity!
Kate liked playing in the sand, but she wasn't sure about the ocean. Emma definitely likes the pool more than the ocean. She loved jumping off the side of the pool! Here are a few of our pictures. We also had professional pictures taken on the beach and I will post when they're available.
