Sweet Dreams!

Kate 9 mos

Our little Kate is 9 mos old already! She is a sweet little girl! She weighs 21lbs 11 oz and is 27 inches long. She just had her bottom 2 teeth cut through. She is playing peek-a-boo, dancing, and starting to clap. She hasn't declared her form of movement yet, so I'm not sure if she'll be a scooter like her big sister! We're introducing more foods and textures as we can, although her gag reflex keeps us in check!

Growing up means sitting like a big girl...

Easter

We celebrated Easter at our home with both of our families.

Soccer

I am an official soccer Mom! Emma joined KinderTots Soccer. It took her a little while to warm up each week, but she would get out there and get kickin! She liked to hold the ball and run, more so than kick the ball. Check out the butterfly stretch!

Two Party Animals!

Museums

Yes, I know - it's been far too long since I've posted! We were out of town 5 weekends in a row starting the last weekend in February and all of March. We went to Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Nashville, Dayton, then back to Cincinnati. We had a wonderful time spending time with our family. Thank goodness for John's DVD player in his car! The kids are wonderful travelers!

We visited Aunt Bec in Indianapolis and we went to the Children's Museum. Emma loved the Carousel and enjoyed maneuvering this contraption on tracks! There was a Dinosaur and Barbie exhibit. Seeing the Barbie exhibit reminded me that I have TONS of boxes of barbies in my parents attic for the girls some day! It will be fun to go back to the museum in few years when the kids are a little older.

In Cincinnati, we met Meghan and her son Jack at Union Terminal Children's Museum. It was a great place to let the little ones run around for a couple of hours. The kids loved the water table and the sand table. Both museums were fun, but I would have to say that Cincinnati was geared a little more towards toddlers. Kate enjoyed both museums via the stroller :)
