Happy Easter 2017! Usually by Easter the kiddos have attended numerous egg hunts, etc. The kiddos woke up and had an egg hunt at our house. We went to Brunch with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Rebecca then back to their house for the "golden egg" hunt. Emma was the winner this year and we were excited that no tears were shed.

Disney Cruise - Castaway Cay/Bahamas
Our final stop on our cruise was at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. Mary, Rebecca, John and I did the 5K race in the morning (trying to burn off a few calories from our fabulous meals).
Due to high winds, many of the activities for the day were cancelled but the beach was a great place to relax and continue getting plenty of sun!
Looking back at the island from the boat...so long beautiful place!

Disney Cruise - Star Wars Day at Sea
Sage was pretty excited about the Star Wars Day at Sea! There were Storm Troopers walking around and Kate and Sage took part of Jedi Training (Emma opted to stay at the pool!).
Couldn't miss an opportunity to meet Chewbacca!

Disney Cruise - St. Thomas
We had a sunny and warm day in St. Thomas. We boarded the Kon Tiki and headed to the beach while listening to a steel drum band. We hung at the beach for a couple hours. John went snorkeling and saw turtles and fish and the kiddos built a sand castle.
On our way home, there was a limbo contest and Kate always makes us proud!

Disney Cruise - Tortola
Tortola of the British Virgin Isles was amazing - talk about a small quaint island. We took a boat to the Jost Van Dyke beach and loved our day at the beach. The water was crystal blue and the sand was soft and white. We enjoyed cocktails from a small beach bar "One Love" and even played table top cornhole.

Disney Cruise - Spring Break 2017
Over a year ago, Grandpa Weatherwax started planning for our Weatherwax Spring Break 2017. We went on a Disney Cruise and had a wonderful time. The food, staff, entertainment and weather couldn't have been any better. The Characters were all over and there was plenty of opportunity to meet, hug and even dance with them.
Warning - I had too many great pictures so I had to post them all!
Here is the luggage for 8 people going on a Disney Cruise!
Its always fun to get dressed up!
We had pirate night on the boat - a fun themed dinner and an outdoor show followed by fireworks and dance party.
There were photographers all over the place.
Emma and Kate riding the famous "Aqua-Duck" water slide! Emma ended up riding 34 times throughout the week.
Sage was able to escort Goofy down the stairs on the boat!
Grandpa's biggest fans!
Adult happy hour while kiddos were at the kids club!

Indian Princess Pinewood Derby
Emma created the "flip flop" boxcar.
Kate created the "Pot of gold" boxcar.
John's tribe was the co-host of the event this year.
Getting ready for the race.
Along with the races, they had basketball and ping pong ball/spoon races. Emma and John had the most combined points and they got a trophy!
Grandpa and Grandma volunteered at the event.
