Valentine's Day and Hoops with Emma

We went to brunch for Valentine's Day.
Sage was excited to fill out his Star Wars Valentines for his class.
Emma's 3rd grade class with the best-ever photobomb from her teacher Mrs. Leinberger!

Unfortunately Kate got sick the morning of her party, she was so sad to miss the party but she received her goodies the following day.
The dynamic duo Ella and Emma finished up another solid year of basketball on team Liberty.  It was fun to watch them play full court basketball.  Next year they will likely transition to travel.
Before every game the girls perform this chant.  Go Liberty!

Indian Princess - Father Daughter Dance

Our whole family always looks forward to the Indian Princess Father Daughter Dance.  The girls love getting dressed, John loves hanging out with his "frat brothers" and his girls, the mom's get together for dinner and the little brothers hang out too!
The girls wore the beautiful dresses again from Brett and Sarah's wedding and Kate added a stylish pair of gold converse!
Dads and Dates!
This year's theme was "Under the Sea." A mermaid, a slushy bar, cookie decorating, dancing and dinner...Oh my!

Swim Lessons for Sage

Okay, okay...I might have been holding my son back from his true swimming potential by using the puddle jumper most of the time.  I admit it - it was easier for me, and a peace of mind!  So, here we are taking swim lessons at the fabulous Goldfish Swim School in preparation for our exciting Disney Cruise at the end of March.
He loves the warm pool and he is showing great confidence!

Moms' Getaway to Cancun...and the kids will play!

Last January when Kristen, Kate and I were at the PA board review seminar in cold snowy Chicago, we decided that we needed a true getaway!  Sooo...we headed to Cancun Mexico and stayed at the Riu Palace Las Americas for 3 nights.
Because we all live in different states, having the ability to lounge around, visit, talk, laugh and reminisce was amazing.  We had one afternoon of thunderstorms but other than that the weather was sunny and warm.
Love this pic of Steph and Kate in the swan tube!
We are all working mothers' so it was a guilty pleasure to take a few days for ourselves...  Thank you to our amazing hubbies and families who helped out while we were gone!

The same weekend John had the girls at the Indian Princess winter camp-in where they skate, swim and hangout!
Sage went to the Blue Jackets game with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Rebecca!
Fun for everyone on this weekend!

2016 Wrap-up

WOW - Another year has flown by and 2017 is upon us!  Our lives continue to be fun, hectic, scattered, and we are constantly humbled by our blessings.  We had a wonderful year of traveling with both the Weatherwax and Zinser families.  The kiddos continue to blossom into wonderful "little people" and their independence is growing.  Many thanks to those that support us as parents, friends, children, siblings and employees.  Cheers to a wonderful and healthy 2017 for everyone!  Can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us.

Thanks for following along with our blog!

Our Christmas

The kiddos woke up around 8:15 on Christmas morning and we enjoyed a lazy day at home!
Cookies and Milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer!
 An art set for Emma.
We framed a piece of artwork for John.
Emma and Kate received a few items from their favorite place Justice.
It was a Star Wars themed Christmas for Sage!
Storm Trooper Sage with his Marshmallow gun!
Emptying stockings is so much fun!

We are blessed to be surrounded by wonderful family and friends, especially during the holidays and that in itself is the best gift of all!

Weatherwax Christmas

We spend Christmas Eve with the Weatherwax family.  We went to mass at 4pm (had to arrive around 2pm to secure our seats) and then we headed home for an appetizer dinner and presents!
The girls received cozy robes this year!  Perfect for cold winter days.
Grandma and Grandpa bought the girls new bedding sets for their new rooms.  Kate is doing black, white and teal and Emma is doing a brightly colored floral pattern.
Fuzzy chair for reading or watching the iPad.
Grandpa made Sage a custom wooden bat with a special message.
 Our family!
The Monday after Christmas we headed to N. Canton to visit with the LePage family and GG.
