Sittin' Pretty!

Emma is seeing the world from a different angle these days...sitting up! We headed out to enjoy some fresh air this evening and to wrap up this glorious day! Here's another picture of Daddy's little girl!

5 Months Old!

Another month has flown by, and she has just grown before our eyes! Emma continues to develop each day. We've ventured into the world of rice cereal and she has enjoyed the new texture! She's wearing 9-12 month clothing and we're into size 3 diapers (boo - no more swaddlers in her size!). Everything she grasps heads straight to her mouth! She's chatting up a storm - and really starting to recognize faces. She's rolling over and has discovered her feet.

She headed to Grandma and Grandpa Weatherwax's for her first overnight trip so John and I could go to Susan's 30th birthday party! We missed her terribly - but it was nice to have a date night again!

The Spicer's visited on Saturday. Luke is one of Emma's many boyfriends - and has the longest eyelashes we've ever seen! Luke celebrates his half-birthday next Saturday! Today we headed outside to enjoy the wonderful sunshine! It was a glorious day! Have a great week!

Welcome Hailey Marie Nichols!

Hailey decided to make her debut 2 weeks early arriving Friday night 3/28 at 11:56pm! She weighed 6lbs 7oz and was 20 inches long. Kim's delivery went very smoothly - only 10 minutes of pushing! Everyone is doing well! Big brother James keeps calling Hailey - "Emma" but in due time, he'll figure it out. It's wonderful being an aunt! Being only 5 months apart, Hailey and Emma will have some fun times ahead!

How Ear-ritating??

We're just getting over a bump in the road - bilateral ear infections. With Tylenol and antibiotic - she seems to be recovering nicely. Many thanks to my moms who came to the rescue to help out! Its just so hard to see her suffer :(

Here are a few pictures of last weekend. Friday night, Grandma and Grandpa Zinser, Kim and James came up to celebrate Grandpa Z's birthday (previously cancelled because of the blizzard). We had a great visit.

Saturday we headed to our cousin Jake's lacrosse game at Wittenberg University. It was a rainy day - so Emma watched and cheered from the car. Emma was excited to see Jake, GG, Great-Great Aunt Liz, Aunt Donna and Uncle John.
