Hailey decided to make her debut 2 weeks early arriving Friday night 3/28 at 11:56pm! She weighed 6lbs 7oz and was 20 inches long. Kim's delivery went very smoothly - only 10 minutes of pushing! Everyone is doing well! Big brother James keeps calling Hailey - "Emma" but in due time, he'll figure it out. It's wonderful being an aunt! Being only 5 months apart, Hailey and Emma will have some fun times ahead!

Yesterday was a fun day! Emma, John and I started the day at the pediatrician's office for her 4 month check up. She weighs 16 pounds 15 ounces putting her in the 97th percentile! She is 24 1/2 inches long and her head circumference is 41 1/2 inches putting her in the 50-75th percentile for both of those categories! She did well with her shots, considering.
From there, Emma and I headed to Cincinnati to visit Aunt Kim at school. Kim's class was anxious to meet Emma as Kim talks about her often! Little did Kim know, that the class was throwing her a surprise baby shower too! We had a wonderful visit with Kim and her class. Jim, James, and Grandma Zinser were there too! Many thanks to Kim's teaching partner Liesl for putting the shower together! We cannot wait for Hailey Marie to get here! 36 Weeks and counting - April 11th is right around the corner! Where did she get that great middle name??? :)

Brrrrr! We had a fun weekend snowed in! Emma and I stayed warm and cozy Friday night as John was in Cleveland picking up equipment. He safely made it home from Aurora in 5 hours on Saturday. We headed over to Matt and Mindy's for dinner and cards. Parker and Emma enjoyed playing together, especially their "floor" play :) Tara and I were talking - sometimes weather like this is God's way of telling us all to slow down and take a break! 
Hello! As of tomorrow, Emma will be 4 months old! As I keep saying - it is going by way too fast! Each day is exciting and an adventure! I miss the days when she would just cuddle with me, and now she's very busy and squirms to look around. She has discovered how to blow bubbles which is too cute :) She is all smiles when she plays in her Exersaucer. We head to the doctor next Tuesday for our 4 month appointment. I'm anxious to see how she ranks in regards to percentiles, but not too crazy about her upcoming shots! I had to take a picture of Daddy and Emma yesterday - they were pretty in pink! :) Praise for a successful surgery for Grandpa Weatherwax last week for a detached retina! We've been praying for a speedy and full recovery! Happy Birthday to Grandpa Zinser - March 6th! We're looking forward to celebrating this weekend!
