Golf Trip of a Lifetime!

John, his father and family friends from Cincinnati traveled to Scotland for a golf trip.  They played golf every day despite the cool, windy, and wet weather.
My one request was a picture of John on the famous Swilken Bridge on St. Andrews Links golf course.  What a keepsake!

Piano Recital - Summer 2017

The girls had their summer piano recital this week.  Emma played "Beauty and the Beast" and "Part of your World."
Kate played "Old McDonald" and "Pop, Goes the Weasel."
Because I had previously done a duet with Emma, I played a duet with Kate.
And the moment I have been waiting for since they both started taking, a sister duet!  The girls played "Scarborough Fair."  Great job girls!

The Memorial Tournament - 2017

As most know, the Memorial Tournament is like a week-long holiday for us in Dublin.  Great weather, wonderful friends, lots of celebration and oh yeah, some great golf,  Here is this year's picture and below is an old picture from 2012.  So fun to see how they grow up each year!

Pre-school Graduation for Sage!

Sage had a fun year at Prince of Peace/Little Shepherds for pre-K!  It is hard to believe that he will be heading to Kindergarten next year.
Here is Sage's class.

This has to be one of my favorite pics.  Ms. Jill his teacher told the children that they could do a high-five for a hug.  It melted my heart to see Sage go in for the big thank you hug - and the look on her face is priceless!

Spring Sports

Sage played basketball on Saturday mornings and loved playing like "Lebron."  He played with his buddy Ozzey and their team name was "Eagle Pizza Bobcat!"

Sage also played baseball on Sundays.  He really enjoyed the transition to coach pitch baseball.  He even slid into a base in his shorts!

Kate had a great year returning to soccer and playing for the Rhinos.  She is a scrappy player and she loved playing with her friends.  Next year she will step up her game and play for Dublin United Soccer Club.
Emma completed her second year with OP U10 Academy.  While she was one of the youngest players on the team with the new rule, she really enjoyed herself and we saw a lot of improvement during her season.  Emma made the OP U11 White team and she'll continue to play with some of her close friends, which at the end of the day is quite important!  We finished the season Memorial Day weekend at the Pacesetter Tournament.  The girls loved playing soccer, swimming at the hotel and running down the halls :)
