Kate's Dance Recital

Our sweet Kate works hard each week in her Hip Hop class from September to June!  This year's theme for the recital was Peter Pan.
We were joined by both set of Grandparents, Aunt Rebecca and Hailey!

Piano Recital

Emma and Kate had their Spring/Summer piano recital last night.  They did a great job.
Emma played - Pumpkin Boogie, Tomorrow (from Annie) duet, and Fur Elise.
Kate played - Kites in the Sky, Painting with Pastels duet (above) and Jack and the Bean Stalk.

Memorial Day Weekend

We went home to my parents house for a Memorial weekend cookout with the Sponzilli's and Uncle Doug.
We went to James' baseball game.
Kiddos enjoyed Kona Ice treats after the game.

It wouldn't be a Memorial Day Weekend without the pool.  We were able to go to the pool Saturday, Sunday and Monday!  Hello Summer!

And the best part about Memorial Day....the Memorial golf tournament is right around the corner.
Here is the 2016 photo!

Indian Princess - Spring Camp Out 2016

The "Dolphin Stream" tribe had their spring camp out at Camp Kern. I love how John and the girls have their special events together.
Fearless Kate climbed all the way to the top and rang the bell!

Spring Sports

This Spring, Sage played indoor soccer and T ball.  He loves playing baseball and he actually understands the game pretty well considering he is 4.  He learned to "take a knee" this season.
Sage got a trophy at the end of the season.

The club soccer organization is rearranging age divisions for the 2016-17 season.  Unfortunately, Emma will be moving up to the U10 division and her two BFFs Regan and Ella will move to U9.  Ella said it best - "We'll play together in high school or college."  The girls played very hard all year long.  Despite not winning many games, the girls' skills have greatly improved.
Emma played lacrosse again and had fun.  She had a couple goals this season.
And the biggest cheerleader Ever....Kate - she is such a trooper going to all of Emma and Sage's games.  We will be celebrating Kate's dance recital in a couple weeks!

Emma's First Communion

First Communion was a very special day for Emma.  She has prepared all year for this sacrament.  The evening before Emma spent some time with GG and they read scriptures together.
Kate wrote a letter to Emma - had to include this.
We had fun shopping for Emma's dress.  We bought a few from department stores, but in the end we found her dress at none other than, Amazon.com!  She definitely wanted to wear a veil.  She looked beautiful.
The back of her dress.
On, May 7, there were 93 First Communicants at Emma's mass at 10am and there were 95 students at the 2pm mass.  Each family was allotted 14 tickets - which was perfect for the Zinser/Weatherwax clan.  We were so excited to have everyone together for the day.

Following the ceremony, we headed home for a party with our family and friends.  We appreciate family and friends who drove to Columbus to join us for Emma's First Communion.  We all made very special memories that day.
