Sage goes to the Dentist!

Sage had his teeth cleaned yesterday for the first time (he was probably due to go 6+ months ago, oops gotta love the 3rd child syndrome)!  He was excited to ride up on the chair and wear some cool Superman shades!
I love the relaxed leg cross while Lynette our favorite hygienist cleaned his teeth!  He chose watermelon as his flavor.
Everyone was all smiles with no cavities!  Yeah!  Emma needs to see an orthodontist as she is a candidate for early braces...ugh!
Sage shows off his treat bag with the big bear!

The Memorial Tournament 2015

Here is the 2015 photo of John with the kiddos in front of the scoreboard!
We are blessed to entertain many of our friends and family during this week-long event!  We are appreciative to Grandma and Grandma Weatherwax for their hospitality during the tournament at their lovely home.
Future Tournament Winner?
The kids went to Kings Island with Grandma, Papa and the Nichols family.  They loved the rides and then cooled off at the water park.  Many thanks to Grandma and Papa for watching the kids, so that John and I could act like kids again :)

Emma's Last Day of Kindergarten

It is hard to believe that Emma wrapped up her First Grade year with Mrs. Makely on June 2nd.  She had a great year - and it was fun to watch her mature and continue to learn.  Their method of doing math is quite different than how I was taught, so it's interesting to learn right alongside of her.  She is looking forward to sleeping in and going to the pool this summer!

Emma played lacrosse for the first time and enjoyed learning the sport.

Soccer still remains her favorite.  She has been blessed to play with some wonderful girls with great families.  Above Emma poses with her teammates Reagan, Ella, Alli, and Kate!

Go Emma Go!

Happy Retirement Dad/Papa/Mr. Z!

My Dad is finally retiring after 42 years in elementary education!  We wanted to celebrate this big event so we were there at dismissal and when Papa saw his 5 "little ones" it was very special.
The students celebrated at school with "Mr. Z Day" and May 29th was declared "Mr. Z Day" in Hamilton County by the Board of County Commissioners.
 The whole family!
It wouldn't be a party without the Beatles - so we had "Eight Days A Week" come and perform.  My Dad even joined them for a few songs (shocking, I know!).
Dad, I hope your retirement isn't anything shy of a Magical Mystery Tour!

Kate's Little Shepherds Kindergarten Graduation

Kate had a wonderful year at Prince of Peace/Little Shepherds Kindergarten.  She worked so hard and learned so much!  She loved her teachers Miss Susan and Miss Mindy.  She will be excited to start Kindergarten at Deer Run Elementary with her big sister next year!
We are so proud of her!
The Graduate!

The girls on Kate's first and last day of school!

Mother's Day 2015

Our family kicked off Mother's Day weekend with a 5k walk/run in Dublin.
The kids were excited to wear their medals!
On Thursday, Kate's school hosted a Mother's Day Tea.  The children sang songs and performed. Kate had beautiful artwork and place setting display.

Emma's school hosted a Mom's and Muffins breakfast today.

I am blessed to be surrounded by wonderful women and mother's in my life!

Take me out to the BALL GAME!

Sage is a huge baseball fan.  Last month, Grandma and Grandpa Weatherwax took Sage to a Cincinnati Reds game.  Despite a rain delay that Sage insisted on staying through, the Reds beat the Pirates 3-2.  He was excited to get a picture with Mr. Red!
Sage at Great American Ballpark!
John and Sage went to a Columbus Clippers game and John caught a foul ball.  It wasn't until the next day that we heard that John knocked Sage over in order to catch the ball! Whoops!
Dominique took Sage to another Clippers game and a nice gentleman who caught another foul ball gave the ball to Sage.  What a lucky boy!
Dominique and Sage went to a real baseball field to play! Batter up!
