More Christmas activities...

Here is Sage at 8 weeks. He enjoys stretching in front of the Christmas Tree and looking at lights.

Last week when the temperature was in the 50s, I took the girls to the Zoo. We saw a few animals, rode the carousel and watched the light show.

Today we went to Breakfast with Santa at the Dublin Golf Club with our friends from school, the Bowman's.

Santa visits St. Brigid

Santa and Mrs. Claus visited our church St. Brigid last Saturday, and yes we had to attend! As you can see, we are Santa groupies! The girls made crafts, got tattoos on their hands, and decorated cookies. With Daddy's presence, Kate got her picture taken with the jolly old couple. Hopefully Santa's face isn't him pondering whether my children have been naughty or nice?!

Trip to Oglebay

We headed to Wheeling, WV with the Weatherwax family to check out Oglebay. It was a fun overnight trip. Now if you want to go somewhere where you'll feel really young, Oglebay is the place for you! We brought the mean age down from 75 to 70! We saw the Festival of Lights, had a couple good meals, and took a dip in the indoor pool! When you're trying to pack 3 kids into one bag, you don't have room for flip flops... Hence, my two little hotties rocking some boots with their suits!
Kate stayed awake the whole trip to WV, we toured our hotel's decorations and as soon as we got back in the car to drive through the Festival of Lights... She was out like a light! Five minutes later, her head slumped forward.

Here we all are! Thank you Mom and Dad for a nice get-away!

Dinner with Santa at the Zoo

Ok, so I think I should sign Emma up to be a model with Santa? She can't get enough of this guy! On Tuesday we went to the Zoo for a dinner with Santa. They had animals, face painting, cookie decorating, a decent dinner and of course, Santa Claus. Besides the 2 inches of rain that fell that day, it was a fun evening. Sage had a nice cozy night with Grandma and Grandpa Weatherwax.

Kate was not very happy that I put her on Santa's lap. I think this is the typical 2 year old response!
We went with our college friends Jen and Tara with their kiddos, Ali and Carson.

Santa with Papa

Today we headed to Kenwood Towne Center to see Santa. Sage met Santa for the first time, and he was so excited he slept the entire time! Again, Kate would not go near Santa unless she was held!I love this picture

Muirfield Cookies with Santa

Grandma Weatherwax took the girls to meet Santa for the first time this year. Our community hosted a cookies and craft event on Saturday morning.
Emma spoke with Santa 3 times, and when she got home she was sad because she forgot to tell Santa that we have an Elf named "Starburst" and I told her not to worry, because he knows. And Emma was very curious as to where the reindeer were. Grandma told her they were out to lunch!

I asked "Kate, did you sit on Santa's lap?"

She replied "No. He scare me. The reindeer tried to eat me."

I guess she's a typical 2 year old when it comes to Santa!

Thanksmas

My parents hosted our shared holiday party "Thanksmas" this past weekend for the Zinser family. It was hectic as ever and the kids had so much fun playing together. The first generation
