What a busy week! John and I closed on our house this past Monday. Its a great house, and we are excited to make it our home! John and his Dad, our personal contractor :) have been busy already! We have possession of our current home until 10/25 - so we have our work cut out for us! 
On Wednesday, I headed back to work - tear, tear, tear. I am blessed to have such wonderful ladies to take care of my girls. The same ladies who took care of Emma are now with Kate, what more could I ask for? Both girls adjusted beautifully, much harder for me. John is a huge help in the morning, and teamwork is our key to success!

Laura welcomed a little girl Rachel Marie on August 23. She has longer eyelashes than her big brother Luke - seriously the longest lashes I've ever seen! John and I are excited to be Rachel's Godparents. We rigged up this self portrait - not too bad!

I think my friends and I are creating the next Baby Boom! My high school friends - Emily, Sarah, Laura and I got together last week for a play date. Together we have 8 children, 2 a piece, 4 girls and 4 boys. Seems like only yesterday we were serving up chocolate dip cones at Berryman's Tastee Treat in Milford! 
Kate made her first trip out of the state to visit Aunt Bec for her birthday the last weekend of August! We celebrated at Aunt Becky's and Uncle Dan's (aka "D'uncle" per Emma) and this is also where GG was recovering from her surgery. Please continue to pray for GG as the margins of her lumpectomy were not clear of cancerous cells, thus she will undergo a mastectomy in October. Here is Emma and GG taking some laps in the kitchen.
