Sage's Baptism

This past Sunday, April 22, 2012, Sage was baptized at St. Brigid. His Godparents are our dear friends, Jim and Laura Spicer. Sage was adorable and when he was baptized he just looked up at the priest.
Sage looked angelic in white.  He wore a precious small white boutinnere from Grandma and Grandpa Weatherwax and a beautiful blue crystal bracelet from the Spicers - both of which he will give his bride some day on his wedding day for something "old" and something "blue."  Oh my... let me dry my tears!
It was a joyous day, but truly memorable because we were surrounded by our entire family.  Sage is a lucky little man to have 3 Great-Grandparents!  We appreciate their efforts in coming to the baptism.

Sage's 1/2 Birthday!

Happy 1/2 Birthday to my sweet little man! How quickly you are growing up! We went to the Weatherwax's house for a celebratory dinner. Don't worry, he didn't eat a cupcake - but he did try applesauce for a special treat - and he loved it!

Sage's 6 mos stats:  17lbs 14oz, 26inches (both in 50th percentile). He is rolling over, laughing, reaching for things (including big sister's hair), and putting everything into his mouth! He enjoys his cereal and veggies, and now fruit.  Following in the footsteps of his older sisters, Sage had tubes placed last Friday for his recurrent ear infections.  He did great.  We couldn't love him any more!

Ketterhagen Visit

Our dear friends Kate and Kyle came to Columbus this past weekend for a wedding. We enjoyed having them and their little guy Levi. We took advantage of Sunday's beautiful weather and went to the zoo.

Easter 2012

Happy Easter 2012!
We had an eggcellent day with the Weatherwax family. We headed to church then had a delicious brunch, followed by an Easter Egg hunt. The girls hit their sugar quota at 9am!

We dyed eggs on Thursday night with Grandma Weatherwax
We went to the Easter Egg hunt at St. Brigid's on Saturday. Following the Egg hunt we headed to the movies to see The Lorax. It's been a great Easter weekend with the fam, and we're feeling so blessed!

Kate Reading

Oh my, our sweet Kate. If you haven't had the opportunity to be around her lately, you're missing out! Never before, have I heard someone ask as many questions, speak so many cute phrases, and dance and sing like she does. Her adorable lines "Its ok, that happens some times," "Whateva Mom," and "You're the best Dad in the whole wide world" never get old. Nearly every morning, she joins me in the bathroom as I get ready because she's my early riser. She sits in Sage's chair, I cover her with her blankets, and she reads books. I had to capture a video to share.

Easter Bunny

Sage meets the Easter Bunny!
My dear friend Laura and I met up at the lovely Mansfield Mall last week which is the halfway point for both of us. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to see the Easter Bunny with Luke and Rachel. Kate was hesitant early on, but after Em told her that she would get a "special treat" then she was good to go. I have no idea where she would have heard that from! :)
On Saturday, the girls went to the Muirfield Easter Egg hunt.
Too cute!

Zinser Easter

Today we celebrated Easter with my family since we were in Cincinnati. We had the Easter festivities at my parent's house and then we headed to The Grand Finale for delicious brunch.
Because the Easter Bunny will be so busy next weekend, he stopped by my parents house early. The kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt, gifts and candy.
The girls got Tangled wigs. After this picture was taken, Emma ran all over the house with her "hair" blowing in the wind, it was a riot.

Hailey Boo turns 4!

On March 28th, Hailey turned 4. She is growing up right before our eyes into a lovely little lady. Yesterday, Hailey and her friends had a wonderful birthday party at The Enchanted Village, in Lebanon, Ohio. The party was every little girls princess fantasy come true! The girls had sparkles for their lips and their cheeks in the dress up room!
In their princess dresses, hats, and wings, the girls paraded around the tea room with their magical wands! Note James in the corner - he was in charge of taking pictures, and he did a great job!
Posing for a picture in the Winter Wonderland room!
