Halloween 2010

The girls went trick or treating on Thursday night. Emma loved ringing the doorbells, and her "Trick-or-Treat" and "Thank yous" were right on cue. Kate would say "hi dere," "bye-bye," "tank-u," and she'd wave and blow kisses. Emma has enjoyed her fruity candy (starburst, smarties, pixi sticks, etc.) and Kate enjoys everything we give her (holding up to her "Kate vs. Food" reputation). John and I have enjoyed the girls' candy too! My sweet little angel
My precious little devil
Forever my little pumpkins

That's my girl...

And this is her crazy hair!!
See the resemblance?

Miller's Country Gardens - Pumpkin tour stop #4

Emma's preschool class had a field trip to a local pumpkin patch (I know, we've kinda gone overboard with the pumpkin patch trips this fall). The class picked out pumpkins, picked Indian corn and enjoyed a hayride.

Nichols' Birthday Week!

James Lee, forever my "baby James," celebrated his 5th birthday on Oct. 18th. His party was at Banana's in Cincinnati. Basically, its an inflatable playground - and any childs' dream come true! Happy Birthday to Jim, James, & Kim

Garden Gate Farm Market - Pumpkin tour stop #3

Today we met Laura, Luke and Rachel in Mansfield. Fortunately, all of the activities were inside the greenhouses because it rained most of the day! The kids loved the straw maze and the corn play table & playground.
She thinks her tractor's sexy!

Shaw Farms - Pumkin tour stop #2

Going to Shaw Farm in Milford has been a family tradition since I was a little girl, and we love taking the girls each year.

Disney Princesses on Ice

We went to Disney's Princesses on Ice last Saturday in Dayton. Emma was so excited! She loved the whole show, especially Snow White.

Abby, Hailey, Simone and Emma

My favorite princess - Emma!

Baker's Nursery - Pumpkin tour stop #1

Fall is here! We headed to Baker's Nursery in Dublin for their fall festival. They had horse drawn carriage rides, paint-a-pumpkin, and lots of candy!

Spider rings and silly-bandz are the hottest accessories this season!

Kate - 15 mos

Last week we went to the doctor for Kate's 15 mos appointment. She weighs 24.5lbs and is 30in long which puts her in the 50th percentile for both. Physically, Kate has not started to walk independently. Dr. Buendia says the "normal" range for walking is 10-18 mos, so we'll continue to work with her and await the exciting day in which she'll take off!
